Done with mouse problems. Can anyone make a mod that overtakes mouse controls?

If you have a custom mouse or if the game just does not like you are the current moment. It will for no discernible reason make it completely unable to use the mouse to click pipboy menus. Main menu's, or even computer terminals. The game is effectively impossible to play at this point and not even a keyboard can help you. I am done with this. It is happening near constantly now and I can't find any fixes online. So now I am going to beg someone with some experience to please make a mod that takes over mouse controls or something so this glitch never happens again. You will effectively stamp out one of the weirdest glitches this game has and I will endorse your mod and vote it for mod of the month in an instant. Please help.

Did your mouse ever work correctly with vanilla, before you started adding mods?

Do these problems always occur (even after a reboot), or only after you have been playing for a while?

What brand & model of mouse are you using? Have you updated it's driver recently?

Do you have a game controller attached?

Have you updated your video or sound card drivers recently? (Most people don't realize that all three of those devices interact with each other.)

Do you have any mods that affect/change the Menus/User Interface/HUD? I so, in which order did you install them?

I've seen this issue crop up an awful lot lately, but no idea what causes it. Reportedly it has something to do with fast travel. A temporary fix is to open your pipboy to the data section with F3, navigate to the world map, and move the mouse around a bit until you get control back.

Possible Solutions to mouse control problems:

* If you have Windows 10 and a Logitech mouse and have this problem, try downloading the "setpoint software", setting the mouse/game settings in there and see if that solves the problem.

* Simply open the console and type "EnablePlayerControls" (no quotes).

* Check that you do not have the "gamepad controller" activated in the "Game Settings" menu.

* If you have a controller attached, try unplugging it.

* Reboot your computer if you haven't in a while. You may need to "power cycle" (power off, wait 30 seconds and then power on).

* Someone reported that this is 100% repeatable for those having the problem:

Step 1: Open your Pip Boy
Step 2: Go to World/Local Map
Step 3: Put your mouse off the map
Step 4: Close Pip Boy

Presto, you are now bugged and cannot select any menu options.

How to fix:

Step 1: Open your Pip Boy
Step 2: Put your mouse on the map
Step 3: Close your Pip Boy

And you're unbugged again.

* Try renaming/deleting your "C:\Users\<YourAccountName>\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV" folder "Fallout" and "FalloutPrefs" INI files and let the game rebuild them. You will then have to reapply any tweaks you made to them, which is why I suggest renaming them so you have copies to reference.

* "Verify files" in Steam. (This will always report at least one file restored.)
