PSA: Requests that require modelling

So you'd like to post a request for a mod so you can replace your player's eyeballs with Fabergé eggs, because, well....because. There's something you should know. The 3d modeling work, including all the conversion steps, materials, textures, game data entries to add something as simple a red table spoon could take an hour to do, if you're lucky and everything works. If you're asking someone to add something that involves modelling work, please take into consideration that you're asking a lot of someone. It's highly unlikely that someone is going to fulfill your very specific request unless they are more motivated than you apparently are.

 

So when you ask for Fabergé egg eyeballs please realize that unless this request adds something with mass appeal, it's probably not going to happen.
Also, there are less than a half dozen mods on the site that have any animation work and those are from very talented people who are doing their own passion projects. Most of the ones you might be thinking of have instead used tricks to co-opt existing animations.
