FCOM using MMM 3.73b and WarCry 1.09 - CTD on new game

Hi guys,

I've recently reinstalled Oblivion with my preferred mod setup (FCOM+Cobl+OblivionXP+LAME) and for some reason, because I'm now using Mart's Monster Mod 3.73b, I can no longer get past the Loading screen when I try to start a new file. I have tried to rebuild the Bashed Patch and BOSS my load order multiple times, but to no avail. If anyone could take a look at my load order and tell me what's wrong, and if I should just go back to MM 3.7 to fix this, that would be greatly appreciated.

how did you install the major mods? there is a specific INSTALL ORDER of fcom mods when MMM 3.7b3 was released, if i remember it right it should be fran, OOO, MMM then uFCOM.

 

 

• ++ UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp [Version 1.0.0] --> no need to install this if you bash patch, fix is included in wrye bash

 

• 1B Mart's Monster Mod - Gems & Gem Dust.esp [Version 3.7b3p3] --> incompatible with OOO

 

22 Mart's Monster Mod - City Defences.esp [Version 3.7b3p3] --> i think this is incompatible with fcom, use fcom diverse guard unity instead

Recommended install order:

 

 

Unofficial Oblivion Patch

Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch (if applicable)

DLC's + Patches (if applicable)

Francesco's Creatures-Items 4.5 (Required for MMMforFrans)

OOO version 1.33 full patched to OOO 1.34 beta5 (Required for MMMforOOO)

Oblivion WarCry patched to 1.085b, patched to OblivionWarCry 1.09 (optional)

Bob's Armory 1.1 (optional)

Armamentarium and Artifacts (optional)

Mart's Monster Mod 3.7b3 (required), Diverse WaterLife Update 3.7b3pF (optional, if applicable)

Cobl (optional)

MMM 3.7b3 Cobl Update (optional, if applicable)

Cobl Races (optional)

FCOM 9.9 + supported add-ons (add-ons optional)

Body Replacement mods (Roberts, Exnem. EVE etc) (optional)

Texture replacers (optional)

 

 

 

Be sure do to everything as it's said. If you do, your game will work for sure. Believe me, I had a FCOM setup ready to go, could install it in 15 minutes and start playing right away without any problems :P

Oh wow I forgot to install uFCOM, silly me. I'll install that and deactivate the mods you mentioned, I'll see if it works then. I did install the mods in the order you mentioned, though.

edit: THANK YOU YOSHH, that is a HUGE help. I'll redo the install over again with the mods you suggested.

When building the bashed patch, there are a couple of places you should specifically DE-select the OOO esp or esm files. It SHOULD be in the documentation, if not Google for fcom superpack and look through the install section on theirt frum - there's a specific walkthrough for the bashed patch settings
