Sigil Stone in Bruma Quest problem.

Yeah, I have to show Captain Burd how to close the gate, well anyway I pick up the Sigil stone like so and the explosion happens but then I'm still standing there and the gate doesn't close. A little help?

This problem has been reported before. It doesn't happen in my game so I can't help but I suggest you search the forum under Bruma Gate or Help Burd.

 

First make sure you have the JE which says you AND Burd have reached the Sigil stone. If not go back outside the area and enter again (if your last save was close). If that has happened you can always use the console to advance the quest although you must have picked up the Sigil Stone first.

 

'Setstage MQ10 50.'

 

However using the console can have serious side effects.

 

You can also try 'coc Bruma' but you must have the JE to proceed.
