Livionia
I have not been able to duplicate the error but I have my games installed on a different drive and not in the program files directory... I would say you need to make sure that there is a registry entry (launching from steam will fix this if it is the error) and making sure that it is a legitimate copy of the game (I know that we will not trouble shoot pirate issues and NMM may not detect such). If after all of these things have been checked and verified I would follow up with a game reinstall followed by a NMM reinstall. Assuming all of these steps are taken and fail I know that NMM can and does create logs of some kind but have never looked into where they are found or when they are created so I would ask (me the author of this post) that someone else helps with getting log data, I'll happily continue trouble shooting at the point that log data is available and all other mention steps completed and failed. I am sometimes slow at responding to forum posts even when I'm watching so if I am slow I hope that others can continue.
burtshaperd
Something I didn't do like an idiot is actually click the green check marks for it to verify that's one of the games you want to use.
GetFooked
I would say you need to make sure that there is a registry entry (launching from steam will fix this if it is the error) worked for me.. thanks
scegielski
Something I didn't do like an idiot is actually click the green check marks for it to verify that's one of the games you want to use. Thanks, after not using it for a while I also failed to do this. Poos UI design to say the leasy. A green checkbox makes it look like all is ok and give no indication that it needs to be clicked to continue. ArtemisCroft
Yes. One way to solve. Click the green tick. Click the green F*king tick! I tried it a hundred times and got the error. Then I clicked the tick. And Voila!
WillieGo
I had exact same problem. When the scan ran it found the games for which I had mods, but... - Previously I just hit Quickstart and it gave me the above errors. - Then I tried on clicking on the green check marks next to those programs it found first. Then when I click on Quickstart the NMM started perfectly. Hopes this helps someone!
