mroboto2016
Trying to learn the creation kit by following the skyrim videos, since I can't find anything for Fallout 4 yet, but when I try to save a plugin, I get an error saying that I must close all dialog boxes first. I don't see anything open, Just the object, render, cell, and layer windows. I don't see any active dialog boxes open. I've gone through the steps in the video step by step, but I don't see what I'm missing. Any help?
starri22
You just click on background area, then you should be able to save.
mroboto2016
Still not able to save. Started the CK, loaded a cell (BosHoldingCell) to test with, nothing else selected, clicked on the background, clicked save, and still get an error box "You must close all open Dialog Boxes before saving". mroboto2016
Trying to save a new mod. Even loaded up an existing mod, nothing at all selected, no open windows, etc. Clicked the background first, etc, Still get error box: "You must close all open Dialog Boxes before saving". Can I not save a mod in the Beta CK?

mroboto2016
I really don't know what i am doing wrong. I am loading the CK from the Bethesda Launcher. I tried just loading the FO4 master file, and tried to save a new plugin, same result. I don't see that I am doing anything wrong.
starri22
Be sure master file is checked, start making mod, save it by any name you want, then check your mod file, and set it as active file.
RaffTheSweetling
Try loading the CreationKit.exe from your Fallout 4 folder instead of from the Bethesda.net launcher.
