Omny
The SkyUI mod for Skyrim had a very clever yet unobtrusive "active effects" add-on for the HUD, which showed little icons and duration meters for potions, poisons, spells, food, diseases, and so on. What I'd like to see is a similar mod for Fallout 4. Whenever you take chems, eat food, become Well Rested, turn on a Stealth Boy, or gain any other kind of temporary stat change, a small, appropriate icon appears on the top corners of the screen showing the effect and how long it lasts. In addition, it could also show small icons for current addictions and diseases (for survival mode), as well as flashing icons for any incoming damage types (a flashing blood-drop icon when you're bleeding, a lighting-bolt icon for being electrocuted, fire for being on fire, etc). ethervagabond
I would love to have a mod like this as well. This topic's pretty old and I'm guessing this is probably really hard to do, or else someone would have made it by now. But maybe renewed interest will inspire someone. I know next to nothing about modding (I once made a race mod for Morrowind, but all it did was take one of the races and otherwise leaving it exactly the same, changed its skill buffs. that's the only mod I ever made) so maybe what I'm about to say is totally nonsensical and I have no idea what I'm talking about, but even if it's hard to make a mod that simply detects the active effects on the player character, perhaps the mod could simply detect when drugs/food/etc. are taken, check the relevant perks and gear, and pop a timer up based on that. And then detects every way an effect can get cancelled early as well to remove it. No idea. I just really want this freaking mod.
