Huglarh
Battlehorn castle is nice to have, Being a Lord over it. But ...what it would be nice, is a Mod that would let you Develop and expand your kingdom? Put that gold to good use and for expanding your entire kingdom. Depending on the enthusiasm of the committee that has the skill but also dedication and patience to make this mod, it may cause issues or not. But what i hope to see if that you can literally build your own empire. You start out finding this one single house...a single Peasant by the name of Jurn B'lirth, Simple Farmer who wishes he could have a properous family with neighbors everywhere you see... With a Kingdom Garden to stroll through and a place to see all of Cyrodills wildlife and strange creatures. Diversity by the dozens and all of todays technology, weaponry, armory, magic and the like in a store for each street~ But his family is poor and can only farm wheat to sell at the market to make ends meet. His father was also a amazing counselor and head captain to a great king, Doing everything he was ordered and carried out with happiness, till he was kicked out by his spoiled son who had great hatred and racism towards all, especially since his father was a Argonian who married a Khajitt. Now your thinking to yourself "Hm... Bah, sad story but i got thrown in jail and i didnt even know what i have done." right? Think again, his father passed his knowledge onto him, you will know everything from where the house and farm are placed down to the tools and such are freakishly organized and perfectly place~ Hm... All that loose coins in my pouch~? All the best stuff i could ever get in this country, What if i ruled MY own kingdom!? Think of it~ As you are given the option to "suggest" a new direction of career for the poor farmer, skills wasted on a simple small acre of wheat. You can remind him there is enough trees and lumber about to make a nice settlement~ And some strange structures nearby appear to be covered in a barrier in several places~ There is many who is up for hire to make some ends meet, And theres a WHOLE lot of land he has being almost out in the middle of nowhere~ Miles and miles, nothing but flat plains and hills~ caves its corridors, Wildlife and their natural habitat. You have the know how on how you can build and run and kingdom, and the funds to do so. So does he to a slightly greater degree but he cane keep the peace and order till Throne doth your bottom embrace~ Now then... You can build a entire empire, maybe a small settle? village? Town? City? Kingdom? Its all up to your pocket size, how much you can do to run your kingdom, and where ever there is unconquered land~ As you start out, all you got is you, the farmer, his home and all he has to offer. As you interact to him, you are given various choices, like where to build~ You can build things, but the farmer will need the gold to hire people to to that for the both of you. when you want something built [although since your starting, there isnt much to choose from till later on.] You get a over head of the limited land you have, which you can expand in the later stages. You get to place your building on a X that marks where your looking at, you can only be looking straight down when choosing a plot to build. Once you select your desired building and spot, he will either wait till the next day or head off his marry little way to go get some help~ [Keep in mind, if you decide to travel with him, you better keep a eye on him, if he dies, say goodbye to your kingdom. More over he should be fine by himself if you wait there or go else where. Your choice.] Now heres the challenge among other things: Patience. He will be back in a day or so with several people [with customizations to make them look busy and like their hammering and sawing], That will be onto their assignment and get to building. Like say...you wanna build a house next to his, It'll take 3 passing days to get it built. I know whatcha thinking "MAN WHY CANT THIS GO ANY FASTER!?!?!?!" then this isnt your mod or you can learn about patience. The great wall of china wasnt built in a day. As you come back, Your brand new built house or building is right there where you wanted it~ and the Hired hand as off to go do business else where while the Farmer gives you to low down on today. This can open many opportunities~ Many buildings with their own interiors, there is many to choose from. As your Empire expands, you can even open up weapon, Armor, spell, Hire help, Pet, general, Alchemy stores and such the like. Their inventory actually changes on the day and night and what day it is. Always restocking for something always new~ Heck you can even a mass your own army and pit them against other cities~ Conquer a great land~ Have your own giant garden that others stroll through time to time~ A Treasury so huge its a sea of gold~ Wanna play scrouge Mcduck? and dive into the gold? [and suffer neck fractures...] :D Men at your finger tips~ Power, Glory, and a Castle so huge you could get lost and still think you havent explored it all ;D Many NPCs with many personalities~ Heck you even get paid from time to time~ Your own bath room and bed room, A Kitchen that can house many chefs, and a dining room that can house a football field [or smaller if your impatient.] Your own audience room so you can listen to how your citizens feel, what is too good or whats seems so horrible going on in this kingdom... ...Seems too good to be true right? well there is some downsides. First: crime activity Second: Upon assaulting a kingdom, they will assault back, and they might never allow you to come back in unless your willing to put up a fight. Third: The bigger the kingdom gets, the more your responsibility is. [Of course since if you wanna leave and adventure, Your right hand man can take care of it all for you.] Fourth: Depending on size, you might find yourself always lost and unable to leave the city. Depends. Fifth: Relations. There is where you can raid a kingdom and get goods you couldnt before or make friends and earn them from commerce, relations, interactions and the usual things you have to do. Sixth: Wallet size. Bigger you kingdom the more accidents, payments and such must be made. [its optional but only if your like churning gold out your rear end.] And Seventh: Dealing with AI. sometimes its self-explanatory. Over all you can even send your own thieves and spies to other kingdom and retrieve things you just simply cannot do. For instance... Does a queen have a item you cant get no matter how skilled your stealth is, she would always notice and getcha thrown in prison? Have the Thief do it. Come back and she might be missing something on her person or from anywhere around her. Its all random chance. Need to know how many soldiers they have? rulers? citizens? Monsters? Chests and other goods? Send the Spy. He will come back with scouted information. He can even function for assassination. I think you will get the big idea from this moment forward on WHAT to do ;) So... I have no skills in making a Mod, nor will i do sucha thing Unless the Wikia was more detailed on how to use each and every script xD Can this be a good idea, if so, will one or some of you take it up? A good idea that demand loads of skills and work, probably an entire modderteam. And I think that if someone is gonna make a huge mod like this, they gotta have personal interest in it. If someone asks for a housemod, like a farmer house, it can be done in half an hour, and me myself would do it without asking any questions if I had time, but for a mod like this, wich requires a lot of scripting, moddeling and stuff, the developers have to be engaged in the project, and not abandon it when half of it is done. Anyway, if you find people who can (and want to) make this mod, it's a great idea! I'm not that good at modding but I'm not bad, I can make quests and stuff, so I'm in if other people get interested.
