NVSE changes my language setting

Hello evryone.

 

I have a slight problem with NVSE, let me try to explain it.

I have a steam french version of fallout new vegas, since i'm french. I switched the game language to english in steam because I wanted to experience the game in a genuine way.

It's working perfectly without NVSE, but when I launch the game with nvse loader, my game is switched back to french.

 

It's not a big deal, I can still play the game but I would strongly prefer to play it in english rather than in french, so if anyone as an idea how to solve this, they are welcome :wink:

NVSE will still be active if you launch the game from your Steam library. So maybe you just need to avoid executing the nvse loader directly?

Launching the game via steam wasn't loading nvse as it should. So it made me check some other things and solve my problem.

Recently I've moved all my steam games into a new directory (for saving space on my hardrive) but I figured out that steam didn't understood that for FNV (for evry other game it works fine, but not for FNV).

So I had 2 FNV installs. The new one, with my NVSE up to date BUT not in english (since steam has downloaded the english version for the old one), and the old one, without NVSE but in english. Naturally, when I launched the game via steam, it was the old one, without NVSE but in english, and when I launched the game via the NVSE loader from my new install, the game wasn't in english.

I've now installed NVSE in my old FNV install and I can play the game in english :)

My steam install is a bit messy I guess, but for now I don't mind ;)
