Thrown weapons that are actually weapons not grenades

so I took the liberty of trying to play with keyword edits to the throwing weapons mod with bricks and cards and kunai and bowler hats
my plan was to make throwing stars, throwing cards, silver's cards into weapons proper, that scaled with unarmed weapons damage skill (because I figured it should get some love and i'm tired of the slowness by which grenades fire, and I wanted these to be the "rapid fire" throwing weapons essentially to make "non firearm" gameplay more viable and immersive

I was trying to make those unarmed and rapid fire (give out of power armour play some love and how would you hold them easily anyways?) while leaving a few of the throwing knives stuff melee thrown "weapons, proper" and leave a few throwing objects like thrown combat knife, francesca, hammer and brick as grenades (to represent really heavy objects that are thrown slower, but also to allow both in and out of power armour melee and unarmed builds to use them properly)

I tried changing animations, ma's s_10-20-30-40's, managed to change the keyword to weapon type, even managed to create a throwing card ammo from a .38 file new record where
I even tried to make the things use melee animations (shortweapon has this really good quick tossing animation)
I tried them in variations, I even tried copying everything from 10mm pistol except certain modding requirements and nif files from the 10mm and the ammo usage too of course, nada... (this was near the end maybe I screwed up somehow)

I just changed relevant data to throwing card info
and of course, I added those relevant pieces to the throwing card weapon itself
(basically tried to make it so that throwing cards were a weapon that fired throwing cards the ammo - because I wanted to use them in VATS)

I managed to get the ammo to show up on the HUD but my pipboy wouldn't select the ammo and stayed on what previously was my ammo type
I'm at my wit's end on this one for now
