bben46
Friendly warning.Asking for original copyrighted folders to be sent or uploaded is against the rules here. (piracy or discussing piracy in any way) If you have 'lost' the original sound folder, you may need to reinstall the game.Bben46, Moderator As only some sounds are missing, I doubt that there is a problem with the original sounds as they are packaged in a bsa file that is not changed, but something from a mod is causing the problem. For example, some mods - such as 'Quiet Feet' remove the footstep sound on purpose to cut down on lag. First, try this: Bben's Oblivion Revert to Vanilla gameWIKI http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Revert_to_vanilla_data If you do need to reinstall:Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the WIKI section of the Nexushttp://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Oblivion_reinstall_procedure It allows you to preserve any saves and mods, or remove them completely - your choice. MarkInMKUK
Also check the different sound slider positions in-game - the one for sound effects may be turned right down.
Tomlong54210
Have you tried turning off hardware accelerating in the Oblivion.ini (after checking the Audio-related sliders in-game)?
