CrashMasterJMM
I have an idea for a SMALL mod... just need a script that I can put into a piece of armor, preferably a helmet, that once equipped would basically make the Console invisibly BAT a text file that I will make myself. I assume just like Skyrim you can make a text file, put it in the proper folder, and manually enter the command "bat filename" There has to be a way to make it do so without going into the console itself and disrupting game play. And if it's possible, make it deal a small amount of shock damage one time, not enough to kill a level 1 character, then make it unequipable after it's taken off. Of course I would give credit where it is due once the mod is complete. =^_^=
seekingthesun
what commands do you want to do? I never even heard of a batch file firing from triggers in the game. It would be so much better to do it in papyrus and run it from virtual machine adapter(VMAD) and apply various conditions using peripherials like conditions within enchantments
CrashMasterJMM
Seekingthesun... Sent you a PM... don't want to divulge too much in the open. Question to all who read this thread however... can a console command of ANY kind be entered via a trigger in game?
seekingthesun
Well, yes, if there is an analogous function, call, etc and it is put into a script.I did some really clumsy work with some references that can in some cases run existing scripts, starting at a stage. For example I made a mod that enables a quest stage from picking up and reading a note but I don't think any of that could help. But as soon as there was a papyrus compiler I made my quest mod of human error into running completely off of a modified script.
CrashMasterJMM
So... referring to my original post... can anyone who works with the CK aid in this?
Reneer
You can't run a batch / BAT file from a Papyrus script. F4SE may be able to do this, though. What are you trying to accomplish by running a batch file that you can't do via a Papyrus script?
