Your soft lips met mine unexpectedly

Your warming embrace gave me solace

Your heart swung against my withered chest

and the butterflies broke away from their cages

 

You're here and I'm here

and we're so close

We're so intimate

 

My lips have become dry

My body has grown cold

No heart was beating against my chest but my own

and the butterflies forever went to sleep

 

I'm yearning for a single touch

but I'm here and you're there

We're so far away
