Heartcloud
Does anyone know what is usually causing inventory lag? When I try to open inventory I have to wait 1-2 seconds, same goes with companion inventory or any containers (even if the container is empty). When I started a new game this did not happen, it was very smooth and inventory opened almost instantly. Is this due to the amount of items I have in my inventory? Or certain costumes from mods in inventory? But that still doesn't explain why opening containers is laggy as well.
forli
The lag depends on the items you have in your inventory. Also UI mods slightly slow down it.
Heartcloud
I'm not using any UI mods.So If I drop those items onto the floor and disable them with console command, then the lag should be gone?Is it based more on the amount of items, or particular items? For instance which one creates more lag, costumes from mods or a huge list of vanilla items like alchemy ingredients? forli
It's based more on "How long it takes to scroll all the list".In a previous game session, my inventory was lagging due to hundred of items. Since 50% of my items were arrows, (from mods, of course), I've decided to drop them. Immediately my inventory regain speed! So I suggest: search for any useless item in your inventory and store them in a chest or sell them, then try open your inventory Edited July 20, 2011 by forli
