Thornax22
Some of my mods work like craftable ammo, better role play, mute player voice, and that stuff, but full dialogue interface, ponytail hairstyles, alternate start, cbbe, and bodyslide REFUSE to work. All texture files are there, all .esp's are there, the mods even show up when I go into load order, INGAME, but they will not work. Wtf do i do? Dalbrad
Same thing is happening to me. Anything without an .esp works fine. (True Eyes, Stackable Wood Foundations, etc)Anything with an .esp, does not. (Darker Nights, True Storms, etc) C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Fallout4\Plugins.txtis NOT write-protected.does contain my modsdoes preface each mod with an asteriskI have created a Bethesda.net accountI have used the in-game "mods" and "load order" optionsAll of my mods are checkmarked correctly in that. But the nights are not dark AT ALL. I can see for miles and miles at 2 am making out individual twigs in a tree on the horizon, clearly reading billboards 400 yards away, etc.And when a radstorm comes instead of 5-12 rads / sec with extreme green stormy-ness, i's under 1 rad / sec and you can barely tell it apart from rain. For the time being I'm simply parking my Fallout 4 game entirely and firing up Civilization IV for a weekend, hoping someone comes up with a fix in a few days, and seeing what google can find every so often. Dalbrad
EDIT: if it matters... I do not use NMM. I know, I know, I probably should and I'm not far away from breaking down and using it. But I'm a bit of a control freak and I like manual installs.
SMB92
If you dont like NMM maybe youll be interested in Wrye bash for your installs. Similar but more control IMO. If the asterix are listed then the games playing tricks on you. Maybe try opening plugins.txt, copy the list to a new document, delete original and place new one there. Might eliminate any corryption issues. Worked for me once or twice.

At this point I'll try darn near anything.
SMB92
So definitely textures working... mmmm. Just for run, go to your data folder and see if there is a Fallout4.INI present. If so delete and try again. If not go back and delete plugins.txt and DLClist.txt then launch the game and exit. Then try to reset mods in NMM.

Then try to reset mods in NMM.D:\Games\Steam\Steamapps\common\Fallout4\Data, hasno .ini's at allD:\Games\Steam\Steamapps\common\Fallout4, hasFallout4_Default.ini,no othersD:\UserName\Documents\My Games\Fallout4, hasFallout4Prefs.iniFallout4Custom.iniFallout4.iniIn each folder, I created a "Backups" folder and transplanted the existing .ini's out of the current folder, into the /Backups folderThen attempted to launch. Failed, saying could not detect an .ini, please re-download.Went to Steam Library, right clicked, properties, local files tab, clicked "verify integrity of game files" so it will get the necessary files. Then launched. The game did actually launch this time. Got message about "will now detect your hardware and set graphics" accordingly since my .ini's are not what they were. Before loading up a save, went to Mods, then load order, confirmed mods with esp's are shown, and are checkmarked, in proper load order. Then loaded up a save. (there was no message about missing files or anything)But ultimately, no change. mods look active in in-game menu, are checkmarked in load order tabdo not get any message about missing mods when loading up an old save from before bethesda.net mod patchbut Darker Nights is not dark, True Storms are not stormy like they were (though I *do* have volume controls for true storms in game settings / audio menu)Exited gameWent to D:\UserName\Documents\My Games\Fallout4, adjusted theseFallout4Custom.iniFallout4.inito contain [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal= relaunched again. Still no change.looked over .ini's a bit more, saw the copy it downloaded has a potentially conflicting line with the above, becuase the downloaded copy also contains sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\and then a bunch of lines naming individual standard files for science, deleted all that, so that the [Archive] section has only [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal= Launched again. Still no change. I am not yet running nexus mod manager (will install that monday if I can't find anything else before then, so I can't test that idea. But I have done something similar before renaming and letting it create new versions of plugins.txt and DLCList.txt, and it made no difference. SMB92
So for you its strictly just True Storms and Dark nights not working? Any other mids you cannot see in game? Try to wait 24 houra in game and see if weather will kick in?
