Guys, I have a big problem...

Ok, the in-game everything is ok, but when I was installing mods (G.E.C.K) I open the files (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\data) and what happens? Just nothing, no folder is in there, I already tried everything. :@

so, I goggled it like, 1 billion times thinking that I was going to find someone with the same prob, but I dont find anything. so if you can help tell me.

Oh and I use w7 (windows 7)

are you saying that the steam folder is elsewhere and you cant find it? like you installed it under a user profile for example?

or are you saying that there is no meshes / texture folders in your data folder?

edit* i looked at image - thats weird???

Strangest thing I've seen in awhile, I mean... yeah, how the hell can the game be running?

I'm guessing (and I mean that literally) that Northwolf was onto something about the accidental hiding of files. Just a shot in the dark I guess, but here's a link to a guide on how to show hidden files. Might be worth a shot?
