While I have been thoroughly enjoying the mod so far, I still can't figure out how to disable the force fields in the Big Empty. I know that it requires some sort of modification to the sonic emitter, but I'm not sure which. I have been unable to find answers on the wiki since it is mostly blank pages. I'm tempted to use tlc in the console if I can't figure out how to deactivate these force fields, so any help is appreciated.

What I think you heard Dr. Klein say was that the sonic emitter can't be used on force fields outside the Big Empty. EDIT: Seems I didn't fully finish the quest at the X-8 research station. I was so tangled up in a bunch of quests at one time that I completely missed the one to get the force field disabler. Edited July 20, 2011 by Guest
Atalish Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Okay, so in OWB, you will receive the Sound gun (I forget its name, Steam is having issues). When you get to the part where you gotta do a quest in a highschool senario (I dont know how to use the spoiler thing, so I'm not saying more) you get the option to do an advanced mode and that will unlock the magic upgrade for the sound gun. Hope this helps, and if you want me to tell exactly how/where you get it PM me, although the quests hand it to you on a silver platter.
