Sandormen
Pcchyeah. The SINK merchant doesn't work for me.(Fyi, installed on a PC)During the dialog it CTD's... everysingletime I have tried to, you know, learn what there is about The SINK.Soo, here I am, with a nonfunctioning SINK that introduces CTD's. How fun is that. Ohh, I can feel it, I get some horrid The Pitt-flashbacks....Where are my painkillers.... ...Oh, there are at least my cigarettes. I think I need a break from the repetitious CTD'ing. This sucks.
Dragonrhyder
I just finished OWB and it was.....ummmm..... how to put this kindly? Different???? I only had a few CTDs while doing the whole thing. Overall, it seems to be a stable addition. I didn't like it. It felt like i went from a gritty post apoc world into a kid's cartoon. The humor was a bit over the top. I do have to say that there were a few times i actually laughed insted of sighing. Once you get out ot the Think Tank and into the world it isnt so bad except for the continual comments made by the mad scientists. I would have enjoyed it more if they had toned down the humor content. The Giant RoboScorpion was a MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT for me. I was looking forward to a nice brutal fight but it just didnt come through. I just used a stealth boy and turned it off then shot it till it came back online then turned it off again and killed it. Overall, it was an OK DLC imo If you like humorous games and cartoonie characters and speech then this will be a good DLC for you. If you are like me and like the gritty, sober more adult content, they you will be disappointed.
AbleGnome
Ditto. The writing is superior, crisp and very funny...and full of real science. The challenges are tough and interesting. The places and whole feel of the Big Empty is cohesive and done with care. Great DLC. Going back in tonight for a second play.
kevkiev
I was really skeptical when I read the various comments about comedy, but so far I'm really likin' it. The first conversation(s) in the Think Tank go on forever (leveled up just before starting the DLC and leveled up again by the time I got through all the skill checks talking to the scientist robots) but it's well enough done that it's pretty interesting. Super stable, and it's great having the Poco Bueno textures - they fit very nicely into the OWB world.
zerrodefex
I've been reading good things about it but I plan to put it off until Lonesome Road is released since it sounds that it will continue right from Old World Blues in terms of explaining The Courier's origin. I'd rather get the whole story at once than pause the game for months to wait for the conclusion.
mrlordfinder
Old World Blues was really one of the greatest dlc's for fallout that i played in ages. The story, landscape and characters really formed a whole package of fun, not to mention the great base you get after completing the dlc ;) On my pc i haven't noticed any of the bugs that are found by others, and i can't say my pc is top shelf.... Definitly the greatest dlc for FNV :)
