Dan3345 Posted July 20, 2011 Share Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) So after playing through old world blues which is amazing btw, and updating to 1.4 the only glitch I have found is that every time I try and enter the goodsprings schoolhouse I get an almost instant CTD. I can't nail down what could be causing it, I have ruled out a bunch of my lesser mods and some bigger ones like project nevada, by turning them off and then loading the game and entering the schoolhouse. When I do a masterupdate or use FNVedit it does not stop the loading so does that mean this is not being caused by a mod but is a glitch in my vanilla game? I have tried reestablishing the games cache through steam, and that didn't work. Something about the way it changes the lighting template for the Goodsprings area cause tons of issues. I have found a fix that requires you to edit Nevada Skies in FNVEdit. READ MY POST HERE. I have found this mod to be incredibly buggy to the point it wasnt worth keeping anymore for me. It is a shame because it is a very cool mod if it works right for you. Dan3345 Posted July 21, 2011 Author Share Posted July 21, 2011 That's very strange, I will look into he lighting effect changes in the interior cells, do you think putting it back to the default would ruin the entire mod or fix it? I also found that the crashing stops when I do a master restore and switch nevada skies from being an .esm (with a masterupdate) back to a plugin file.. I have purged NSkies from my game, disabled ELECTRO-CITY and Cat Outfits Vegas, and I still have the CTD. When I disable all mods except for the DLC, I CTD when I load the game. Disabling everything except Vanilla FNV resulted in the same. Reinstalling did nothing. What do I do? EDIT This also includes the Saloon.
