Dcrim
Hi The problem is that Fallout crashes while speaking to Sink Central Intelligence Unit. It seems to occur when a certain dialogue is about to begin and when I escape the dialogue entirely.I also tried reinstalling OWB, but no avail. Everything else is fine and smooth. Anyone know a remedy for this? Thanks
Sandormen
Ditto. same issue here (PC installment). It seems to be a little random where the ctd hits, but at least(!) it happens every time I try to dialogue. For instance when one topic is over, and I try to continue with another topic, that is a sure killer. :(
Atalish
I would suggest trying a Steam File Verification of New Vegas. That would scan all the files and you are most likely missing some. To do this scan you right click on Fallout: New Vegas and go to properties.Click on Local Filesthen press verify integrifty of game cash Hope this helps! BottleOfWater
I'm having the exact same problem and it appears to be caused by Requiem for the Capital Wasteland. Which brings me to my actual question: is there any way of uninstalling RFCW without losing all your progress? Simply unloading/deleting the related files causes your character's appearance to reset, your UI to disappear and you lose all control over the game once you load a save (console still works though) so that's not going to work. Are we RFCW users completely out of luck on this one or is there a way of playing Old World Blues that doesn't involve waiting for a new version of RFCW or starting an entirely new game? Oh and PS: ever since installing OWB, accessing any crafting bench is crashing the game, too.

(I have it RFCW too)That... suc*s... The crafting from worksbenches, I have had no issues with, so far. (Haven't installed any mods that could influence the craftingprocess. I am calling out to the modders! Unite! Solve the RFCW! >:) XD Forgot to mention that I have tried to verify the gamefiles through Steam. First time I did, it found two errors. The consecutive turns I have tried the same, it continues to find one error. This is exasperating. I pity the fools with no computerknowledge at all, trying to play FO3/NV, even without mods, etc. Edited July 22, 2011 by Sandormen
BottleOfWater
Just a quick thing - the creator of RFCW him/herself has posted a thread in the mod support subforum.asking for assistance with this problem. So the issue's known and with a bit of luck, we'll get a fix for this one soon.
