Frostworn
After adding several mods and creating a new character, I noticed that the base ground texture is purple. I stopped all the mods, re-installed the game, and even re-installed the shaders (even though I hadn't patched). Nothing worked. Any advice? Should I post all the mods? GohanCZ
Did it turn purple after you turned on the mods or was it purple even with clean oblivion install? Is it now purple with clean oblivion install without mods?
Ygfbv
so you deleted all of the mods and reinstalled? could be your oblivion.ini... back it up and then delete it. the game will recreate it. if you just disabled them, delete them and reinstall the game again. Frostworn
Yes, with a clean install and no mods activated, the ground is still purple, even with a new toon. Going to delete all mods and reinstall. Then try backing up .ini + reinstall. Thanks for your help :) Edited July 20, 2011 by Frostworn
Frostworn
It was fixed by deleting all mods and performing a clean install. The ground is no longer purple, but view the attachment to see what it looked like. As you can see, everything except for the base ground layer is what it should be. The purple even fades into the normal landscape at a certain distance. Edited July 21, 2011 by Frostworn
