Rosethorn hall secret door

Hello, I'm thinking about adding a secret door in the Rosethorn hall basement. I'm not new with mods but really new to the construction set, I have only used it three or four times and only edited weapons, armour etc. I have looked up some info about the construction set and how it works but I can't seem to find a good tutorial on how to add an interior door to an already existing wall.

So what I want is to ''chop a hole'' in a wall in the basement of Rosethorn hall and add a door, Like the secret door in Benirus manor. Is this possible or is there any other way to do this? All help on the subject is appreciated!

Edit:
And if there are any gramar nazis out there feel free to correct my writings. English is not my native language.

If you want to add a load door (a door which makes the game load a new cell), just place the door there and link it with the door in the other cell.

If you really want to "chop a hole" in the wall to create another room in the same cell... well, you can't do it in the CS alone. You need to open and edit the wall model (the file *.nif). You need programs like Blender and Paint.net and you need to know how to use them (not an easy task).

Ah I see. So if I add a load door and in that new cell add different walls wich already has (or atleast has a fitting hole for the secret door) a secret door implemented in them it's all good to go?

I'm curious tough on the part where you mention that this could also be possible if you where to edit the actuall .nif file. Are there any good tutorials or guides I can check out just to get the idéa of it?

The first time I needed to manipulate a mesh in NifSkope set me on the path to Blender.

Back then the Blender Noob to Pro was a reasonably short learning curve for basic things but Blender has evolved light years ahead.

While there are certain things I can only do in NifSkope, editing shape is at least 100 times harder than in Blender for me.

The thing is that the import/export NifScripts for Blender stopped at Blender 2.49.

I would suggest downloading the latest version of Blender along with version 2.49b.

Install 2.49 but change the install path to "C:\Program Files\Blender249" or whatever so that the latest will not overwrite it.

Then search on Blender Noob to Pro and start learning.
If you want to know how to get a model out of the latest Blender into Oblivion.

You can use game textures by extracting them to the relative location on hard drive and referencing them from Blender 2.49 before export.

Make sure they are dynamic and when opened in NifSkope read "textures\somefolder\somefolder\.." as in NOT "C:\Program Files\Oblivion\Data\Textures".

If you get stuck then message me.
