GohanCZ
When modeling an item in 3DS max do i need to collape all the parts into one single mesh before exporting to .nif or i dont need to do this? Like if i want to make some small changes later or maybe have different material on blade etc..And this leads to next question, do material properties like glosiness, specularity etc.. made in 3DS max impact how the item looks in oblivion after exporting to nif? I have a couple of different armor mods that use multiple strips to make what appears to be one object in-game. They don't seem to have any problems so I doubt you'll have to make one mesh. GohanCZ
so when i want to make it from multiple objects do i need to do something else then just move them in right positon and export as .nif, open in nifskope and add dds files? Because i am not very skilled with nifskope so all i do in it is that i open the nif file and add path to dds files.
