impmallet
Hello, and I apologize in advance for my first post being a help topic. Anyway, as the topic title states, I think I've run into a very irritating bug concerning the Deep Scorn Hallow plug-in. While attempting to boost my alchemical skill I harvested my garden and then proceeded to scarf down all the ingredients, not knowing that the poison choke berry was so....potent. To make a long story short, the effect won't go away, even though the timer bar has already depleted the poison icon just sits in the corner, cure poison potions and spells do nothing to remove the constant health drain effect, and without using god mode my character will die within minutes. I've tried waiting and sleeping for many many hours to no avail. Is there any way to forcibly remove this effect? Note: Yes I was a dummy and saved without realizing what was happening, and no back up to restore to.
pcWIZrd67
The Chokeberry poison, like the Poison Apple, should only last for 1,000 seconds (16.6 minutes) so you can try to wait it out with lots of healing potions and spells. If you're on a PC you can open the command console (tilde key '~') and enter "player.removespell LairVileAbChokeberry" (without the quotes) and that should remove it. Thanks for the advice, it is much appreciated. Yeah, for some reason no matter how long I waited it just wouldn't go away, turned on god mode, left for awhile(about an hour), still there. However, your tip about the remove spell worked wonders, I didn't realize abilities could be removed with the "removespell" command. However, for some reason it wouldn't remove with just the name, I actually had to go into the construction set and get the form ID, then it finally got rid of it! Thanks again for the help.
