RaffTheSweetling Posted May 23, 2016 Author Share Posted May 23, 2016 Yeah I get this too, on the PC after the 1.5 update. Before that I had 1 crash in over 200 hours. It also freezes on Synths and I had one freeze targeting an assaultron. The freezes are reproducible upon loading a save in the same spot targeting the same enemy it freezes again. leorage Posted May 24, 2016 Share Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) I've got this bug more than 5 times, sometime after just few minutes of play I had to install a mod to bring back the quicksave ... thx bugthesda The monster -that I've targeted in VATS- freeze my gameand then after reloading the game I use VATS on the same specific monster the game crash again,very strange bug ... Skoogy Posted May 25, 2016 Share Posted May 25, 2016 Happens to me as well, and while it seems slightly more likely to occur after 1-2 hours of playing, it can happen anytime really. The mod that let's me quick save whenever I want has become absolutely crucial, but it's still extremely frustrating to crash this often. I find myself save-scumming like crazy, which is the opposite of what survival mode was supposed to be like. While this is the most common crash I experience, update 1.5 has made the game much more unstable in general and I get other random crashes as well. Before update 1.5 I had played well over 300 hours and only had 2 crashes, so they have definitely messed up with this recent update. Unfortunately Bethseda doesn't seem to acknowledge this yet, so I have no idea when we can expect a fix. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Survivor mode BETA testers reported this issue to Bethesda, and it was never fixed before 1.5 went live). Removing your mods may seem to have mitigated it, but I don't think it will completely solve the problem. Small sample size, but didn't get a single crash in a 5-hour session last night - which has been a rarity since it was introduced! edit: :down:Nevermind.Sample size: One more play session sees me get 2 more freeze bugs requiring full reboot to fix.
