Old World Blues crashes upon completion

Fallout New Vegas keeps crashing to desktop, everytime I complete Old World Blues.

In the "Think tank" after having the last conversation with Dr. Klein, and then exiting the think tank... It crashes to desktop. I can tell it's the end of Old World Blues, because of the fact that sometimes it will play music for a second, (like it does at the end of the other DLCs, along with your video ending). But it just crashes to desktop.

What do I do?

Do a Steam File Validation. That should hopefully fix your problem. If it doesn't have you tried updating drivers?

Already tried validation. No change in issue.

What drivers should I update by the way?

Also wanted to add... I had the display drivers updated. Problem still exists.

So I called Bethsesda Softworks Tech support...and they figured out the problem.

Apparently it crashes if your character is the least bit hungry. Obviously this means this problem only exists if its in hardcore mode.

So simply feeding my character until he is not hungry at all, allows me to proceed.

Perhaps Bethesda wanted to show the effects of hypoglycemia with this crashing so, in the tradition of Microsoft, this is a feature rather than a bug.
