xxneosilasxx
First of all, my apologies if this has been answered, I've googled a lot. There are a lot of cells with EditorID 'Wilderness' in WastelandNV Worldspace. Can these areas be modded? As in, like, buildings and whatnot? EDIT And if so, can map markers put there be seen on the pipboy map? Edited July 21, 2011 by xxneosilasxx

When you place your mapmarker click on it to open its menu from here you you check the box marked visible to set the marker as visible on you map by default. This is also where you name your location.
xxneosilasxx
Thanks for the polite reply, monty. I was half-expecting to get eaten by the bears. :)
Gribbleshnibit8
Another note is that you can rename these cells without any major issue (that I know of). Renaming them makes them a lot easier to find again later. My memory is a bit fuzzy on this topic, but as far as other mods go, if they edit the cell and load lower, the worst that will happen is that your cell will lose its name. adman85
Had the same idea. I noticed theres more than double the wasteland just beyond the game borders.. Problem is it's not navmeshed (companions have big troubles, and melee enemies don't recognize the PC as a threat). Sad.. So anyone want to navmesh hundreds of miles of empty space? montybrad
NP  You may want to consider creating your own world space depending on your goals it has certain advantages: Custom world spaces wont conflict with other mods "at least no one else will have modded the same area as you" though other conflicts are still possible, actually that the #1 reason cant think of another at the moment but there there somewhere haha. Disadvantage: new world space means you start from scratch with no terrain variation just flat land mass. Ive created three new world spaces in my mod so far, works well for me :)
xxneosilasxx
How would I go about creating a worldspace? I can't find them in the Object window. EDIT Nevermind, found it. :) If anyone's googling this and found this thread: The top bar of GECK has World > World Spaces.
