Broken files with The Enhancement System

Hi

Great game and great mods.

With this one, I can only download it manually, for some reason cannot do it with NMM, and when I attempt to extract the files, I get the error msg for all files.

However, I seem to be able to install the mod via NMM. Once done, starting the game is impossible as it is mysteriously missing the HOS and hair.

 

I started from a fresh game installation, then reinstalled the mod and running the Script manager revealed no issues, however, unable to start the game.

 

I read the material with the mod but the is no way of doing any manual installation. Hope there is solution for the download or other.

Hi again

I've noticed that many threads have 0 replies, which could be for many good reasons. Is one of them that I may be placing this issue in the wrong place?.

I've searched the net but found no one with my issue. I've read the material nicely written by the author and followed where and how to place the files, however the problem is missing files in the download.

 

FYI, I've already finished this wonderful adventure with HOS included. But since I've found out about NG+ and MODs, well you can do the math, got to go again. But not without the mods specially the Enhancement as I heard it is an absolute must.

Don´t use NMM to install. Simply download the mod manually and place the folder in your "Mods" folder in the Witcher 3 main directory (C:\games\witcher3\mods\modEnhancementsystem for example).

Be sure to use "script merger"(download at nexus) if you use multiple mods.

 

With this game mod install is so easy, any not needed third party tools only make it more complicated.

Thank you for replying.

I wish I could get a clean download of the file. Every time I try to unzip the download, I receive error messages. That's where the problem is with me. The only way I can try to have a clean download is through NMM. However, I cannot extract the files as they are corrupted. Very strange as no one else is having this problem, and I am not having any problems with anything else. Some more research needed from my end I guess. Again thank you for your time.

SOLVED.

 

Thank you Simon for your great help. I would had not known what to do. Specially that it seems to be not a big deal after all hehehehe.

For those who may be interested, my problem was with the zip program I used ended up downloading files as corrupt. 7-zip solved it all. Now I have a clean download.
