A bunch of mods aren't working.

Okay, I finally upgraded my computer so I can play F04 with mods, and with ENBs the game looks great! However, a lot of my mods aren't really working. Take for example, Any Mod Any Weapon. I'm using NMM and although it's all loaded up, it doesn't seem to be working. Another one is the hair models, they aren't working either. Same goes for any custom craftable armor. The list goes on, but I think you get the point. Another weird thing is that there were really weird placeholder names for a lot of the makeup options when I was creating my character (LOOKUP FAILED I think). I recently installed F4SE but it hasn't helped. Any help would be really cool.

That might be a possible issue with update 1.5.

Load up your save and make sure the mod is not working. If it isnt, exit the game and start NMM. Double check to make sure the ESP did not disable itself. I ran into this issue with a few mods.

They aren't disabling themselves, at least I'm pretty sure they aren't. Anything else?

Im assuming you updated them, but I suppose its worth double checking the mod page.

Another thing you can try is create a new save with no mods, get out of the vault and then save and exit. After that go and restart the game with one of the desired mods checked, go and see if it works then. If it does then there is a conflict, if not then its something else.

Another possibility is that you are missing a required file, that information is available on the mod page though. Also check that any required mods are also updated.

Alright, thanks! I'll try creating a new save and all that. A few of my mods work, the majority don't though. It's really weird. I actually think I kind of know the problem. After i install and load up all of my mods, they show up in the plugins.txt, however, immediately after I quit FO4, they are all gone leaving only Fallout4.esm. If I load up my save again the mods that worked before still work (I think only CBBE + other body mods are working right now). It's just really weird.

Check Bethesda's mod menu and see if its activated on there too.

I had on a mad called "Customize Legendary Enemy Spawning". After Survival came out of beta I was able to load my game properly and everything, but noticed that despite the fact I turned off Legendary enemies they were still spawning. What would happen is that the game would disable the esp every time I loaded a game. Something about update 1.5 changed the way mods work and causes a lot, and I mean a LOT, of issues. Would you mind also posting your load order?

I can do it tomorrow as I'm about to hit the hay, but I'll post it tomorrow. I've uninstalled all of my mods using NMM as well. Is Bethesdas mod menu just the mod option in the main menu of the game?

Oh, and thanks for helping!
