WarRatsG
Coffins.... I don't sure that using coffins as transportable havens is a good idea.I think, that there should be a chance, that somebody (sapient or not) will find you sleeping in a coffin and try to open the coffin during daylight. Wanna safe? Sleep in townroom, or occupy fort/cave. But not place coffin in the middle of Imperial Road. I think you misunderstand - it is not a portable coffin. The player literally goes underground. ;) And one more thing. The most disappointment thing in games (especially rpg) - is unusable skills. If effect of skill could be achieved other ways, and could be acheived easier - this skill is just a worthless crap. For example - in original Terran vampires, Barons had ability to summon "shadow weapon" - or soBut, for all saints sake - this weapon had worse stats that artifact or enchanted weapon. So - why I should use this ablility? I agree, I hate those things too.I've tried to lose/improve all pointless abilities, hopefully they are all useful now :) Thanks for your suggestions ;D

(can't remember, Toreador in VTM) girlbeautiful, artistic and so on...And this girl start to dig her grave in dark-dark forest )Or let's imagine Regent, with all his nobility in same situationLooks weird, isn't it? WarRatsG
this girl start to dig her grave in dark-dark forest )Or let's imagine Regent, with all his nobility in same situationLooks weird, isn't it? It's not exactly digging - the ground just sort of swallows you up.The power is called "Meld with the earth". As such, instead of whipping out a shovel, you just sort of... meld.
refthy
Maybe I'm infected with vtm ) http://wiki.white-wolf.com/worldofdarkness/index.php?title=Protean_(Vampire:_The_Masquerade) I just trying to tell, that this kind of abilities - should not be available to all vampires, but only to those, who have chosen life in wilderness, who prefers wild over city walls. WarRatsG
I hear VTM was one of a kind in it's day  I understand where you are coming from, but I do not like to limit what players can and cannot do. My style has always to make something difficult, but never impossible. I have always balanced every benefit with a drawback. So if you are not from Clan Protiva (I think it's Gangrel equivalent  ) then the cost of buying the power goes way up. In future you will also have to perform a favour for the elder who teaches it ;)

dabigone
Do you have any kind of a release date in mind? I loved the original mod, and from everything that I've read is that this one is to be far better, and I can't wait to play it!
refthy
Umm, just a suggestion. Make ability, that will emulate daylight (with all its colourfullness) in night time When I played in original mod, I was really tired of twilight lighting
WarRatsG
Umm, just a suggestion. Make ability, that will emulate daylight (with all its colourfullness) in night time When I played in original mod, I was really tired of twilight lighting In the original mod, it was near impossible to daywalk. In this release, you can daywalk without going into torpor, so don't worry - there's plenty of sun to go around, even for vampires 8) As for a release date, all we can promise is "before Skyrim."Bit of advice for everyone: Never, ever take something on with a time limit. If there is even a chance you might be pressed for time, walk away unless you feel particularly lucky - otherwise those short weeks before your deadline will throw just about every possible obstacle into the mix :ermm: Edited October 18, 2011 by WarRatsG
dabigone
Lol at least Skyrim is coming out in under a month. And since my computer won't run it, I'll have even more time to enjoy this mod :). I don't think I'll have to use your advice very much though unfortunately, since I can't make heads nor tails of modding.
