If I install the previous version of the mod is compatible with this?

 

You mean can you continue a savegame? Not likely. I think quite a lot would go wrong if you did, so to be safe a fresh install should be used.

the regents....i wanna be the prince ;)

 

The prince may not necessarily be from Clan Regent. That is just how its been for a few centuries. It is entirely possible for a Recluse to take that role (theoretically).

 

Btw, clan thanaturge is still not playable, however they have been given a drastic makeover, and actually make an appearance this time.

For those who never played the last one, the Thanaturges were the creators of Blood Necromancy. They are the only civilized clan outside of the council.

Although like I said, they have had a change of personality...

 

Huh that's interesting lol. I've always kinda liked the Thanaturges, but now I'm really to see how they changed.

What did you like about them? They didn't really make an appearance before.

 

But yes, Urko completely reimagined them. He gave them a pretty deep backstory, while I added some contemporary behind-the-scenes stuff. I think it ties in very well, and you can decide for yourself when this becomes public :)

 

Even better, this time you will get to meet them.

 

 

And seen as it looks like everyone will be playing as Protiva or Recluse, I can just brush all the other ones to the side....

I'm doing my best to make all clans as polished as possible. I'm wanting every clan to have a specific advantage and disadvantage, but I'm struggling to think of a few. I'll post them here and perhaps together we could all think of something. Plus, having a say in how this mod turns out will make it much more enjoyable for you.

 

 

Another statistic for you all - The ReadMe/Manual is almost 30 pages, but when it's done it might be over 30. Apart from OOO, that's one of the largest manuals I have seen.

well if it have so many pages it means that there are a lot of things to do and to know so it's a good thing

A big manual means a lot of cool stuff to explore lol :). And I liked the thought of a clan of vampires that wasn't under the influence of the council, along the the necromancy powers that they had. But you're right, the original mod didn't really have them in it at all, just described them. Can't wait for this one to come out though :).
