Magically strong, physically weak.. I like that. Arcanist could pick a particular path of magic and excel in it easier since they are greatly magic oriented.

 

Clever, the player chooses their own school of Blood magic. I guess I could make it cost half as much Blood power to use the spells from the chosen school.

 

I m new to the forums but i have to say i am very glad to see all this, I LOVE Vampires and most of the time try to find a way to be one. After reading most of the post here i am looking forward to seeing this in Skyrim.

 

Sorry to tell you this, but Terran Vampires is not continuing in Skyrim. At least, I'm not a part of it.

The former project leader, Urko, has told me that when he gets the time he may make a spiritual successor to Terran Vampires in Skyrim. I have nothing to do with it, as I will not be getting Skyrim for the PC.

 

since i did not read all the post this may have been added but an idea that i had was to make it that a NPC that you feed on has a chance to be changed into a vampire also.

 

Vampire Thralls and Vampire Acolytes are not going to be in the first version - there is far too much else added. I need to know that all the other content is stable first, because if I add too much then I won't know where the bugs are coming from.

 

since i don't know how to script or do graphics I may not be a lot of help here but I would love to be a mod tester if you need one.

 

I enjoy the support more than anything :)

My idea for more protection was because the Arcanists ARE physically weaker, they would be bound to have found other ways to protect themselves. But the other ideas I've heard sound better yet lol, especially the one to allow Arcanists to specialize.

oh another thing the spell mod had, had was a spell that allowed you to steal blood from your opponent to replenish yours. So yes I am an avid fan of blood magic in games. Which is why the arcanist will likely tempt me greatly. Edited by kendrafelishia

More protection could be in the form of a blood shield. I had a mod I enjoyed by someone else once, activating blood shield covered my character purely in blood that soaked damage.

That could be cool lol, instead of dealing damage to the body it would take away from your blood reserves.

 

Interesting idea. I'm trying to think where it could be added, or what it could replace. I'm sure there's something useless that could be chucked ;D

Status of project?

 

I took a 2 week break to enjoy Christmas and Hogmanay (New Year, for my non-Scottish readers), but as of the 7th I will have returned. As for the actual status of the project... "ongoing" ;)

We dont have whisky for breakfast.

We dont chase 3 legged sheep around the hills.

We dont all play the bagpipes.

We dont all wear kilts and carry daggers in our socks.

We are not all ginger.
