Freeze on FastTravel (and LoadGame?)

Hello,

 

i have the problem that Fallout NV 1.4 will freeze in maybe 30-40% of every FastTravel.

The Loading-Wheel spins ~15 sec. and then freeze.... Alt + Ctrl + Del is your friend :\

 

Fallout NV is a clean install! And i began a complete new Charakter.

the only time mine ever had freezes on the wheel screen was when it required too much math for my pc visuals. And my pc is badass. It has done that to me before when i had mods on there that required multiple masters too.

 

Also, the d3d9 conflicts with the 4gb enabler from what im told. i doubt thats the problem though.

I will reduce the quality of the textures a little bit. Maybe the textures from the replacers are to heavy to load (many MegaBytes).

 

I've never heard something about the conflict frim d3d9 with 4gb enabler. Do you have a source? Would be interesting.

the conflict on the d3d9 - i was told in a forum a while back that it nullify's one particular aspect of the 4gb enabler, but im not sure which part.

 

i noticed that i had hard freeze problems on the load screen if i hat too much visually going on on my save and it usually did it more often when i was loading from scratch. i had a save i kept where i was in a room with the lights out and if i loaded that first and then loaded my save i wanted to play, it would properly load more often. It really confuses the hell out of me too?
