marckus3000
Hi everyone, I'm going to say from the start that I'm a beginner in modding. I decided to something very simple, so I made a custom eye texture with Photoshop, and in Creation Kit I added the Texture Set and the new eyes Set in the Head Part. Everything went fine and I was able to use the new eyes in-game so I thought "Why one set, when you can have two?" and so I did all the previous step from the new one. The problem is that somehow when I save the new .esp (every time a new one because it seems I can't overwrite an esp in use) and open the game with the new one running or one of the set is missing or one of the two doesn't show its texture but the default brown eyes, and checking in the Geck or the Texture set is set on None or the new set is missing and I have to do everything over and over again :wallbash: .Is this a bug or did I mess up something with the creation kit? ubuntufreakdragon
Normally you have to click on the "select as active file" button while selecting the plugins to load into the ck to mark one existing file to be changed. To merge already independent esps you have to use a 3. party tool. marckus3000
Thank you, now I understand and it seems to work fine . So the problem I had was that ck didn't saved the things I didn't change in the new .esp?Just curious to know the reason why I had this issue.
