weed33
It's also that guy's job to get as many pre-orders as he can, so take that with a large grain of salt. If he can sell you on pre-ordering now, that's his quota he's filling. If they make a CE later, and you pre-order then, it might be some other clerk who gets that gold star on his report card, catch what I'm saying? So it's in his best interest to get you to not hold out for a collector's edition. Which is not to say that he's lying either though. He might not have received word yet, but I wouldn't consider that definitive by any means.gamestop employees get paid simply for working, not how much they sell they're not car salesmen, they don't come up to you and give a sales pitch. Korodic
I thought that it was a pathetic attempt to make people pre-order the game by having the map. When am I ever going to look at a REAL map when there is one in the game? :dry:LOL

Yeah but there's a strong selling ethos enforced in the store. If you're not selling as much as you should be then you get a talking from the higher-ups. All employees sales are recorded on the computer system, pre-orders, accessorries, hardware, consoles, games and trade-ins are all logged and your sales are reviewed every week. In some stores you have a little card to fill in with all your accessory sales targets on it. I've worked at "popular gaming store here" when the Kinetic came out and we were actively encouraged to "tell them anything" to get them to buy one. I personally was never very good at lying and always tried to help people save money which is why when it came time to renew contracts I was let go :(
