Change of Ad Provider

Know how to get around ad blockers? Host the ads on your own domain, so there isn't a third party to block. That also gives you editorial control over what gets served and how. Yes, I *am* suggesting you hire someone to sell ads directly to advertisers. The ads would be more expensive, but if the Nexus crowd is the right fit, you're guaranteed to be seen and that'd increase click-throughs.

 

Would I allow a doubleclick ad to be seen on my system, even for my best friend? Not even if YOU paid ME to do it. Russian roulette is a stupid game played only by stupid people.

 

Would I click an Amazon banner for the site serving up my mods? Yes I would. In fact, I'd click all manner of things if it was vetted by the site I already trust to send me virus-free mods for games. Well, except clickbait articles, "Twenty weird ways to lose weight, #18 is alarming!" I really want to see a clickbait extension for adblockers ...

A popup appeared whilst browsing literally called "EZBACKDOORINSTALLER" claiming to be a ADOBE FLASH update, I was smart enough to close it but the script had already started.

Continuing to use ADBLOCK when logged out till this is fixed.

Getting Ransomware from a MODDING website is rediculous.

 

Also, the ad's with audio and videos need to stop.

OK then... but if you insist on using a kludge like Firefox, that's on you. I don't have a stake in what browser you use, but if you know yours does not like ads/video/whatever (Firefox does not seem to run well anywhere on anything) you should be thinking about changing it up. Lord knows there are enough options to choose from.

What is the name of the ad provider? id like to know for the reason that my pc ive put hundreds into is at risk for damage or spyware that can steal very important company information. antivirus only kills ads used by script kiddies so its always possible new viruses are put into ads. to take off adblock I need to know the provider name to see if they have "mixed ad quality" or ads that are only made by actual companies and such.

Using firefox since something like .07b, so I won't get myself banned using the language I should. Nothing wrong with firefox.
