Hi All,

 

Giving FO3 another go with the DLC and a load of mods before I tackle NV an finally FO4 later this year and need some input.

 

I have followed the STEP guide and added/omitted a few mods for personal taste.

While making a merged patch in FO3Edit I have found a few lines of errors:

Not sure if they are anything to worry about, If they are any good tips or links to tuts on fixing them would be great.

 

So far I have loaded up a leaving vault 101 save and a had a run about megaton etc, no crashes as of yet. But I am taking the time to do some preventative maintenance.

 

Also,

Could someone have a quick look at my MO load order and plugins lists (attached also) (I have used loot sparingly for ESP's and completely for ESM sorting)

Maybe a heads up any any potential errors i might encounter that could be fixed now.

Advice:

  1. Making any kind of merge of files, only those files should be present and their perspective dependents, no others.
  2. Zero patches or other add on's such as street lights should be there Unless you want it to be.

Understand how the UUF3p works? so why would you want it's data trickling down into the merged data?

 

Same goes for patches esp forms....you don't want conflicts between patches overwriting UUF3p's data in a merged file bellow...thus renders what it does useless.

 

you have false flagged files sitting in there also, running Fose files at the same time.

 

Divide and conquer the set up, Isolate types, merge the types as a whole and Eliminate conflicts between the types...lessor the issues should some occur.

 

heavy scripted files should all be done separately as a group. lessor lower , greater higher.

the above records are from T-sniped edits and or a bad hard drive storing information corrupted. In Either case, these kinds of issues are easy to fix, in seconds.
