Is there some reason why weapons and armor added by FCOM's mods are so ludicrously heavy? I know armors and weapons are quite heavy in the real world, but I think a longsword weighing 60 pounds is a bit of a stretch (that's how much I weighed when I was ten years old). And who could use a pair of gloves that weighs 20 pounds? The bow weights are especially ridiculous, I practice archery in real life and I can tell you that a bow weighing 32 pounds would be totally unusable (they are supposed to be lightweight weapons). I know they have been made for the vanilla armor and weapons, but has anyone made a modification to make the weights of FCOM items more realistic? :( Edited by Lehcar

It makes more sense if you realise the numbers refer to encumbrance not weight which is why some refer to them as 'feathers' rather than pounds. A 2 kg (5lb) longsword may be a realistic weight but this would mean your character could carry around 30-40 of them - not even remotely realistic.
