PAPVAFS11
I have a general idea of how media location controllers function and I've put many to use in reworking the atmosphere of the game, but one thing that continues to escape me is how the Enemy, Neutral, Friend, and Allied faction sets work. I've tried setting the PlayerFaction to an enemy and ally of the faction picked out on the controller, but that doesn't seem to change anything - it still defaults to the Location set. Does this function off of reputation, am I using the wrong faction, or what? If this functions off of reputation, how would I go about setting the player to use specific sets (mostly with regards to exact reputation values) depending on circumstance? PAPVAFS11
It's been about two weeks and I've made no progress on this subject so far. Does anyone have any information that could help me?
dubiousintent
I have no knowledge about this subject, but have you tried looking in various other Bethesda CS wikis, such as the Oblivion one? Many later games (FNV in particular) build off of the knowledge in the older wikis without replicating it, and just assume you are familiar with their contents. Terminology sometimes changes though. Very little knowledge as to the inner workings of the game comes from the publishers unless it is on such wiki sites. Most is developed though trial and error by the community and added to them. This may be one of those areas no one else has explored very deeply. -Dubious-
