LegoManIAm94
http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console#fw In older games like Oblivion there were only a few weather types. Like one type of rain, one clear one cloudy but in Skyrim there is several clear and cloudy weather types. What does the A in SkyrimClear_A mean, Or the CO_A mean in SkyrimClearCO_A. I think there like lighting effects but what does these letters stand for?
cdcooley
The _A means it's a type that can have an aurora although there may be other differences for particular weathers too. The two-character codes are based on the regions where they are used (although particular weathers can be used in more than one location). CO = Coastal (the entire northern coast)FF = Fall Forest (the Rift)MA = Tundra Marsh (around Morthal)RE = Reach (the Reach)VT = Volcanic Tundra (south of Windhelm)TU = Tundra (mostly Whiterun hold and similar areas like the area west of Morthal)SN = Snow and Mountains (various places, mostly where you would expect them) The more generic names are usually assocated with the Pine Forest (most of Falkreath hold). Does Aurora mean northern lights compared to the ones without A that doesnt have northern lights?
