NorthWolf
I'll consider doing it when I get to a milestone with my current work. I just don't want to stop midway and forget what I was doing. Edit: Actually, there's no way I could do this legally without a utility to log file changes. D'oh. Edited July 22, 2011 by NorthWolf
DrakenGuard
What kind of Ultility? Im sure the guy who did the Requiem Mod has a tool you could use if you look in the credits section.
NorthWolf
Different situation. Instead of just installing something, I'd have to change the Zeta.esm to avoid breaking the EULA.
DrakenGuard
I understand, its a difficult scenario. Still, I just like to go without the hassle of the Requiem installation process. Nevermind.
jpmntn
You'll need to take the Zeta .bsa's from Fallout 3's directory, put them in Fallout NV's Data directory. Next, copy over the Zeta .esm. Open it in FNVEdit. Now for the fun part. You'll need to completely disassociate it with Fallout 3. This can be done by switching it to use FalloutNV.esm as its master instead, and also going through the super-fun process of fixing any and all errors that creates. And even then, there's a chance you won't be able to open it in the GECK. If that happens you'll need to make an external plugin, place the necessary objects in it in the Fallout NV worldspace, save it, then open it and the Zeta mod in GECK and merge the new plugin with Zeta. Finally, replace all instances of the marker in the Zeta file to reference your new marker/trigger/whatever, as necessary. that's right. u need to make sure it has new vegas as master file & not f3, then open it in geck, removing anything that associates to f3. but for zeta, if u remove the start marker n place it in nv it should work.
