The Thorn Rose *QUEST + FACTION*

You start this quest when you sleep on Tirdas at Midnight.

 

*An invisible man walks up to you and says the following*

 

Here, take this note. The Thorn Rose welcomes you to the brotherhood.

 

You can say the following choices.

Option 1 will make him say,

 

You will find out soon enough, Sunflower.

 

Option 2 will make him say,

 

You can find that out when you kill the man that goes by M'aiq The Liar. *gives you a blade of woe that is renamed to Blood Thorn*

 

Option 3 will make him say,

 

Your silence wastes the time of the Thorn Rose. We need time to keep us alive. You lost your chance of being recruited. *and you cannot do the quest or faction*

 

When you choose option 2, you must go find M'aiq The Liar and kill him. Then when you sleep on Tirdas again, you will be visited again by the same invisible man. HE WILL SAY THE FOLLOWING.

 

You have done well, killing that stupid Cat. Now, let me see the blade I have given you. You will get the Dagger of Seeds. *the bonuses of it are Paralyze 5 secs on Strike*

 

Meet me at Fanacascuel. The Ayelid Ruin. The Thorn Rose will be glad I have recruited you. You will see no one when you get to the correct room. You must go up to M'aiq's dead body on the altar and take his robes for us to become visible.

 

*He then disappears.*

*When you arrive at the correct room, go up to Maiqs Body and steal his robes. 5 men wearing Black Robes will appear. A man named Kuarkim will appear as a dark elf. He will speak to you and say the following.*

 

So.. You are the infamous killer I have heard about. Very nice. Now, onto what I have to ask you about. Will you join my Faction of the Thorn Rose?

Option 1 will make him say,

 

Excellent! I happily will now call you DandeLyn. Now, you must report to this ruin every Tirdas at 8 PM to 12 AM. Do not be late or you will be sorry. Speak to me for your next contract.

 

Option 2

 

Haha.. Now is a horrible time to say no. I have 4 other men with me that need you.. Now, your blood will be ours. *and he and his men will attack you and the doors to the ruin will lock.*

 

Option 3

 

I am called The Missing Link. I am the second highest rank of The Blood Thorn.

 

Your first contract as a DandeLyn is to go to the Floating Bull (or whatever that inn is at Anvil or wherever), and kill the Inn Keeper. She is a Mythic Dawn Hidden Agent who needs to be tought a lesson. She has a man sleeping upstairs on the far door to the right who needs to be awoken and brought safely to the ruin. *Please note this is no one talking I am just telling you what I want the first contract to be.* If he comes back dead, you forfeit the contract.

 

If you safely do the contract, you get 250 gold and the Inn Keeper's head which you can sell to one of the men that work at the ruin for 75 gold.

 

Contract 2 will promote you to the rank of Stone Blood if you complete it.

 

Your job is to steal a bow with Daernishix (Another Stone Blood in your faction) from another large Ayelid Ruin. The ruin is guarded by Goblin Warlords, and Skeleton Champion's. The bow is called Frost Reign and does 50 frost damage on strike. You must take it to the ruin. If you do it, you get 500 gold and get a "Disease Ridden Necklace" which resists disease 45% on self.

 

Contract 3 will give you a bonus reward if you do both parts.

 

Your job is to invade any 2 ruins that have Varla Stones. Get 2 varla stones, and get 15 welkynd stones as a bonus. You must get the varla stones to complete the contract, the welkynd stones + varla stones will get you the bonus. The reward is 900 gold and a Daedra Longsword. The bonus is a Stone Blood Hood and Robe which are purple with a skull on them. They provide 10 defence total.

 

Contract 4 will promote you to Frozen Heart if you complete it.

 

You must go to the Cheydinhal Mages Guild and kill everyone there. They will respawn but it is part of the quest. After they are all dead, go to jail, break out, kill the Jail Gatekeeper dude, get your items, don't get sent back to jail and go to the ruin and you get 1200 gold and get a promotion.

 

Contract 5 will give you a powerful staff if you complete it.

 

Your job is to go to the Imperial City and get a bounty of over 50,000 and get sent to jail. You will get put in a cell with a man in Mythic Dawn robes that you must lead to the ruin. You must bust out also, and take him to the ruin. You will the Apotheosis staff and 5k gold.

 

Contract 6 will give you The Missing Link promotion.

 

You must go to Bravil and speak to the Night Mother and she will say something about the Dark Brotherhood and the other Missing Link in your faction will appear and attack you. You must kill him and take everything in his inventory and you will get promoted.

 

Contract 7 will promote you to the Bloody Thorn of the Crown, the final rank.

 

You must head to the ruin and you will see 4 men circle around you. They will chant random gibberish and summon a Gloomy Wraith with 2 glass warhammers that will attack you. It has 1000 health and can use magic spells that do up to 50 damage. Kill the gloomy wraith and search it and take it's Crowned Heart. The 4 men will then turn into ghosts and will disappear and come back as your clan mates and will call you their king etc.. Then you have the choice of going to the night mother and speaking to her and you will get 2 more members to the ruin every month.
