GoodolWheatworth
Whenever I try to mod something it all goes well and looks good in the construction set but when I save and exit the construction set I think something goes wrong. For some reason when I re open the construction set and load my mod there's an object with the same EditorID of what I modded except it has "DUPLICATE" after it and none of the changes occurred to whatever I tried to mod, but instead to the unused duplicate. It's happened when I was trying to change the mesh of a creature or when I placed objects in a cell. I don't understand why this is happening or how to stop it because it happens after I save the mod.
fg109
What mods are loaded when you make your mod? I suspect that you're trying to mod something that comes from an .esp file.
GoodolWheatworth
Yes I am, that must be the problem. What should I do in order for it to work correctly? Thanks for the fast reply.
fg109
You can try using the Construction Set Extender. It will automatically add esp files that area loaded as masters to your mod. The regular CS doesn't do this, which is why you get a problem when you load your mod again.
