brokenergy
Killing him would make it worst and gives him the satsfaction that he wants. Best to not give him that.

ita
I agree. The hallmark of an open and democratic society such and Norway, is to NOT succumb to simple blood lust and revenge fantasies. Everyone deserves a trial, no matter what heinous crimes they have committed.
Kuraikiba
That's right, give him a trial, declare him guilty, THEN exact a completely vicious and violent death on him. Now THAT is democracy. Why? Because then, everyone consensually votes in favor of "Let's get him!".
ita
Norway doesn't have the death penalty.
rausheim
Death is too good for him. This is the reason why we should've kept some of our more "hideous" traditions, like "Blood Eagle" etc.
Kuraikiba
Why exactly is there no death penalty? Even the US has it in parts, and we are the softest on our criminals. No country sugarcoats the process of execution as much as the US. In fact, dealth penalty in the US is a more comfortable and nice death than pretty much anyone gets. rausheim
Wanting to go forward as a humanistic country or some crap like that. I'm for the capital punishment, perhaps it may not be discouraging for criminals, but it would sure as heck be more justicial towards the family and friends of victims. brokenergy
Because you must be smart on crime not hard. Just because he's a serial killer doesn't give you the right to kill him (even if he's guilty). It just makes you bad (plus Norway is an signatory of the abolishment of the death penalty. If they kill this man, they will break International Law)
Kuraikiba
Now that last part made sense. I say extradite him to Juarez. Let him see how long he lasts in a CITY of murder.
