Noodlesocks
So I've been sitting on my mod for a while now but it uses some assets from another author whom I have made repeated attempts to contact for permission over the past few months but so far haven't received a reply. Should I just give up on this portion of the mod or would it be ok to publish the mod, providing credit for the author?
TheVampireDante
Check the mods they made that you used content from, read the readme files for any permissions or credit sections to see if they state that people can use the content or not. If nothing is listed and you cannot get a reply from the author(s) themselves, you will have to avoid using their content if you plan to release. Noodlesocks
Oh thanks, hadn't thought of checking the readme. Turns out he does give permission to use. Just hasn't updated his permission page =) ( http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1960 in case you wish to check the validity of the above)
