Strange problem with wolves.

I have begun Oblivion again and have come across a problem with the wolves. All that appears of a wolf is a pink head-shaped object that I would is the mesh without the texture. If it helps, they are a dark pink colour.

I also have Qarl's Texture Pack 3 and Dark UI

 

 

The wolves have worked for me before when I was playing Vanilla Oblivion as well as with some mods I used previously.

 

I was thinking of using a replacer for the wolves, to see if that would work.
