Guys I need help. I know its been a year since the 1920 x 1080 fullscreen fix. I'm lowering my resolution because my laptop has been heating up and stuttering due to low FPS. I tried lowering my resolution in Fallout4Prefs.ini (Just changed iSize H & W) to 1280 x 720. Did not worked out for me..I tried lowering my native resolution to 1280 x 720. The game was running fine (I cringed at the desktop resolution) until I pressed any button on startup menu, it CTD'ed.

Here's my Fallout4Preds before:

bTopMostWindow=0
bMaximizeWindow=0
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920

Here's now that won't work:

bTopMostWindow=0
bMaximizeWindow=0
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=720
iSize W=1280

Did any of you guys successfully played the game at lower resolutions??

Ok, so I found this mod named "Upscale" ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1850/ ). Mod description:....

"This mod allows you to run Fallout 4 in borderless fullscreen, but have it rendered at any resolution.

Why would you want to do that?

>Play at a lower resolution to get higher framerates, but without sacrificing fast task switching

>Play in full-screen at any resolution, even those your monitor doesn't support

You might find this mod useful if...

>You don't have a top-of-the-line video card which can run Fallout 4 on Ultra settings at your monitor's native resolution

>You have a 4K monitor which doesn't support scaling in MST (60 FPS 4K) mode"

....I tried said mod but I'm stucked at black screen with sounds in the background when running the game. Also, I'm using Cinematic Apocalypse mod, so I followed instuctions FIRST on this mod: "DLL (Native mod) Loader" ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1844/? ) before doing "Upscale" mod.

Okay guys, I think I may have found something! It's working for me!

I'm having no lags whatsoever using lower resolution (1280 x 720)!
My only problem now is where in .ini files do I increase the texture quality to moderate?? I'm using all low settngs, since I'm having crisps FPS now, I want to revert back to moderate. Where in .ini files do I change that??
