Apostrophes inserts "\" before, breaking links

Take a look at the requirements here. Whenever I insert an apostrophe, TES Source automatically adds a backslash, \, before it. This also counts for links, so I actually had to change one of them, because it contained an apostrophe.

Please fix this. It only seems to count for new entries, because existing ones work perfectly (take a look at the requirements here).

I have started using the "`" instead of "'" It looks similar and will not get mangled by the system. There are other Ascii character that cause similar problems.

the " ' " is $-#-39

so if you use these HTML "$#" things in place of the CHAR it might work.

But you have to remove the Hyphens(-) I put in. I had to to show what I meant.

Oooppps Did I do thaaat. :^P

Thanks for the tip (the $-# thing), but it didn't work - it only showed as $-#-39 (without the hyphens), both in the link and in the text. And I'm never using " ` ", whatever the case - I'm highly against that and it has always irritated me that many people use that instead of the correct " ' ".

To render the CHAR the &-# coding will have to be saved twice on this system. the first save shows the code the second save results in the desired char being displayed. And each save after the second will generate a new backslash???

Its broke and people complain but its not aggravating enough to get the proverbial grease profferd to the squeaky wheel. Perhaps you could start a survey/petition and squeak louder in #s?
