LordColin Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 LordColin here, Duke of Inverness and Count of Lothorian I'm new to modding but learning a lot and I have a lot of time on my hands if anyone can take on an apprentice, teach me and ill make mods for you....I am having issues with the Sauron Armor mod and other mods as well. I keep getting the yellow triangle with an exclamation point... Also when I put on armor from other mods it makes my player dissapear where the armor should be seen. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong if anything? Are these mods hopeless or is there something I can do to fix them? I dont have shivering Isles or knights of the nine is this the issue? thanks and I wanted to say thanks to all you modders out there making these awesome mods. Im currently looking for any mods where you can become a king? Anyone know of any? I like the Baron of Weye mod a lot and I think there is a lot of potential there for bigger and more in depth story lines revolving around a kingdom.... Candex Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 (edited) OK... one thing at a time... Yellow exclamation signs: Missing Meshes. I'm not much of a modder, but you should check that the .nif file in question (whatever appears as a :excl: ) is properly placed in its correspondant folder under Oblivion/Data/Meshes. Also check that the nif is selected in the CS Object Properties. Click your object in the object list, then RMB click, then 'Edit', under the model's tab if I am right, is the list of possible .nif files that you can use- make sure you have something selected here. Dissapearing armor: I don't know for sure, but this is easy to fix. It happened to me a couple of times when I installed things wrong. Don't get rid of those mods if you like them- unfortunately I can't give you better advice, you will have to wait until someone with proper knowledge helps you. In my case Reading the Readme carefully and reinstalling properly fixed it. King mod. Yes there exists at least one. Search the word Emperor here in TESNexus... make sure it's spelled right tho. I hope that helped a bit. :turned: EDIT: I now noticeyou post this under 'Oblivion Discussion'. It's not totally wrong, but you would get a far better response if you post in Oblivion Mod Troubleshooting, for the problems, and Oblivion Mod Talk, (and I recommend you there the Oblivion Mod Detectives thread to find any mod).
