tartarsauce2
what seekingthesun said, then check through the thing, and have add a new entry to whatever they're spawning with, and add combat armour pieces to itif you want a CHANCE that they'll have it, then you can create a level list entry that has the pieces, with a chance-NONE entry, chance-none means if you put 25% there's a 75% chance a thing WILL spawn from that level list1st pointlevel lists comprise of at least two or three types of level list in a way, ones that involve items directly, and ones that reference other level lists (to make it easier to add them to NPC spawn lists), and then NPC spawn lists, there's nothing special about them except what they impactlike if I wanted every minuteman to spawn with chest armour, I'd just manually put in the chest armour into all of their NPC spawn level listings perhaps, but if I wanted more than one item, I'd want to put them all into one level list independent of anything, and then add that ONE to the NPC spawn lists)2nd point (you can skip this if you want total uniformity)but if I wanted more random spawning with armguards, and leg guards, and almost none with combat helmets... then what I might do is make a new and separate level list that has combat armguards and legguards in it, with a chance-none factor that's say, 50%and for helmets, their own list as well, with chance-none of 90% (10% chance for minutemen to spawn with combat armour helmet)the chance-none is up to you, to determine how often or unoften they spawn on things, giving some variation allows some flavour to factions3rd point. level lists with multiple entries, pick between one of the entries even when they do occuryou can see with scrounger perks' level list that each of the scrounger ammo finding things has their own file with a chance-none that's equal to each otherwhy? because if they were all part of the same file then there'd be a 75% chance to pick from one of those ammo types, with every ammo type you can get from it being a separate file, then that means that each of those ammo types has a chance to dropso TLDR make your level lists of armour pieces separate, left leg, right leg, right arm, left arm, helmet, armour, undercoat and then you can fiddle with how high a chance each one has to not spawn, then add each of those to a new level list that has all of those named(that's like 6 things, it'll get annoying to put all 6 into every minuteman thing separately)then put that one level list into each of the minutemen's level list, instead of trying to put 6 separate things into each and every one of them (like putting bullets in a clip/magazine to give to someone instead of throwing bullets individually to them, or how like 10 dimes is a dollar)_VVV-VV-._V_ Edited May 16, 2016 by tartarsauce2
